Google confirms Adobe Flash Player 10.1 for Nexus One

For the now-exclusive owners of the HTC Nexus One, there’s something else to look forward to: Adobe Flash Player 10.1 support.

Officially confirmed by Google today, the official version should be out and about in the Android Market now, either as a brand new download or as an upgrade for Nexus One devices already running the beta edition.

The Motorola Droid is slated as the next recipient on the list, but no telling when other Android-based smartphones in need of this development will follow suit. iPhone owners, don’t hold your breath.
