3D TV Tech Impresses, But There Are Still Big Questions

3D is a major topic at the Society For Information Display (SID) Display Week conference in Seattle this week. Walking the floor and seeing the demos, I remained impressed at how fast the technology is evolving, with demos showing better 3D and even "glasses-free" autostereoscopic displays. But I'm also concerned that the technology is overhyped, and it will be hard for the industry to meet the lofty expectations.
