Electric-only Audi A2 hot hatch launching in 2012
I have a soft spot for hot hatches. The hatchback is functional, fun, and (typically) fuel efficient. Well, it turns out that the 2012 Audi A2 will be even more fuel efficient, because it’ll be offered as an electric-only model. Not only that, but it’s starting to sound like the German automaker will only offer the Audi A2 in its electric powertrain configuration. No gas. No diesel. Just pure electric. It’s debatable whether or not electric cars may not be the future, but they sound like a good intermediary.
