FP Tech Desk: Robbie Bach out at Microsoft as part of major restructuring

Microsoft Corp. is shaking up the leadership atop the company’s Entertainment & Devices division as the world’s largest software company looks to breathe new life into its consumer-facing businesses.
Robbie Bach, president of the company’s E&D division since its creation five years ago, and J Allard, a senior vice president who helped create the original Xbox and the company’s Zune music player, are both leaving the Redmond, Washington-based company, in a move that was first reported by TechFlash.
