Google has been hush hush on their plans to open up Google Checkout to merchants around the globe. Not only can users not sell items on their websites using Google Checkout, but most of these excluded countries cannot sell Android applications either. Now if you want to sell apps from an unsupported country, you are going to have to work for it. It’s going to take a push from all of us to make it happen. If you are affected, you need to speak up. We need a clear answer from Google for two important questions:
1) Is Google really actively working on letting us use Google Checkout, and
2) When can affected developers really expect to be able to sell Android applications, or items on their website?
